Dinner with BRGR.CO, Chelsea, London

December is always a time for random meet ups with friends, present buying and parties. As December is the time for my birthday as well as Christmas, it was the perfect excuse to meet up with Amy her beau Dave and me hubby Gary, and grab some chow as well as do some outfit snaps. We normally go to central London or East for a meal, so it was pretty cool to have a walk up Kings Road and get some burgers at the Chelsea branch of BRGR.CO.

With a industrial feel that has a hint of New York, I love the look of BRGR.CO and it was great to see what they had to offer on the menu at Christmas time.

I normally opt for a beef burger when I go somewhere like BRGR.CO but when I saw they had a Venison option on the menu with a slice of stilton, I knew I had to try it. Cook slightly rare and how I like it, there was also some cranberry thrown into the mix which was the perfect combination for such a festive burger.  Gary settled for a bacon and cheese burger which looked divine but it was no match for what I ordered (Sorry Gary 😋).  I always order sweet potato fries when I have a meal like this and they were cooked just right with enough crisp and crunch. I find they aren’t as filling as normal fries too which is always a plus when you have a burger and bun to eat.

After we had all crammed our bellies with burgers and milkshakes (you must try the Oreo flavour), I decided to share a cheese cake with Amy. Now sometimes cheese cakes can be uber sugary and rich but the one we had was soft, light and just right for us to share. It was great teamed with vanilla ice cream also and I definitely needed to be rolled out of the restaurant once we finished up.

I have been to BRGR.CO a few times now and it’s a really great place to stop by. With quality burgers, sweet potato fries and yummy desserts, it’s an ideal joint if you fancy a date night or want somewhere to go with friends. They also have gluten free buns and some veggie options too so the chain really does cater for all.
