Mulberry – LFW A/W 2011

Entering an English forest with an array of top, celebrities and Journalists, the excitement ahead of the Mulberry show was evident on every one’s faces. Once we made our way into the catwalk space, it was clear that we were in for a treat as we sat among the foxes, birds and other wildlife among us.
From the start, Mulberry was a complete feast for the eyes. With layers of texture, rich Autumn colours and of course, beautiful bags and accessories, there was so much to take it and was styled effortless together.
An inspiration of 1970’s glam was taken and used in the pleated dresses, maxi dresses and skirt suits and outerwear such as Duffel coats and leather jackets.
Colour blocking from S/S has been transformed and adapted for a colder season but it still heavily used with emerald green, deep purple and minimalism colours such as beige and brown.
Over all the collection was warm, wearable and beautifully made, all the things that will make this A/W a Mulberry wearing one.
