A Makeup look perfect for any Easter Bunny

Easter beauty ideas 2015Easter is finally here and as this occasion is all about Chocolate, family and chicks, I thought I would do a nice, fresh beauty look that has soft colour injections and is easy to apply and wear during the holidays.

To start off this look, I moisturized my face and then applied Bourjois Nude Sensation mousse foundation in ’42 – Rose Nude’. I really love mousse products and this foundation was SO EASY to spread on my face and felt so soft and smooth. My skin was still a little dry after I applied my moisturizer but this mousse covered any problem areas and made my face look and feel really fresh and blemish free.

After my face was done I used Essence’s Make Me Brow eyebrow mascara in ’01 -blondy brows’. I haven’t used eyebrow mascara’s much before but I loved how easy this one was to use. With a small brush, I was able to comb and coat my eyebrows effortlessly and I love how the product made my eyebrows stand out too.  I think the colour suits me really well and it’s a really simple item to carry around with you everyday and use whenever you need a tidy up.
Easter beauty ideas 2015 Easter beauty ideas 2015Easter beauty ideas 2015Big impact eyes are always good so I thought I would try out Essence’ 3D eyeshadow in ’10 – Irresistible Summer Sea’.  I love the dreamy colour of this blue and it really gets me in the mood for summer and a day at the beach. The colour is very strong when you first apply it but does spread easily and gives a nice shimmer to your eyes also.

I didn’t want to go to bold with thick eyeliner so I tried Essence’ Kajal Pencil in ’15 – Behind the scenes’. Using this pencil, I just created a small flick at the end of each eye and blended it in to give my eyes some depth and shape.

I have been using this Maybelline Lash Sensational in black for a few days now and I love how big it makes my eyes look! By capturing all the lashes(even the small ones), it really builds on the shape of your eyes and makes them look sexy, bold and really bright and fresh.
Easter beauty ideas 2015Easter beauty ideas 2015I’m normally not too keen on lipglosses as they can sometimes be sticky and the colour can gather in the corners of your month. Thankfully though, with years of practise, Bourjois have released their new Rouge Edition Aqua Laque and I am now fully converted. I am wearing ’01 – Appéchissant’ in a pale pink here and after applying it, my lips felt like they weren’t wearing anything at all. This lipgloss is perfect to wear everyday and you really don’t need to use much of the gloss for the colour to show up instantly. I have tried some of Bourjois over colours in this range and will show you in due course but they are well worth an investment and make your lips look AMAZING!Easter beauty ideas 2015Easter beauty ideas 2015Tesco’s BD Beauty range do some great nail varnish and with summer around the corner, I thought it was time to paint my nails with ‘Mellow Moments’ and decorate them with the uber cute ‘Daisy Days’. The glitter and occasional flower on each finger really does look so cute and both these products seem to really compliment each other really well. I have tried Daisy Days with other nail colours and it looks just as nice with some dark purples, greens and even similar peaches and pinks like I am wearing here.Easter beauty ideas 2015Do you like this look I have created?

It was fun to mix and match different colours and this look is definitely brightening up my long weekend!

Hope you have a lovely Easter and remember to eat a chocolate egg for me too!Happy Easter
