(No pun intended)
As me and the hubby love nothing more than a nice snuggle on a cold night, it was great to work with Debenhams and make our room extra warm and cozy for Valentine’s Day.
A good duvet cover is really important to me and I couldn’t wait to try out this Stag/Scottish inspired one from Debs. With a slightly manly design that is also reversible, this cover is perfect for a man who doesn’t like girlie covers and bright colours yet still looks uber stylish and cool. The high thread count is a bonus on top of the thick quality it processes and it kept me so warm and snug in the middle of the night. I love the fact that the purple checkprint is repeated in the silhouettes of the stags and it brings back happy memories of our honeymoon in Oban.
As romantic lighting is a must for a night in, I really wanted to try out this large lantern with 5 tea light candle holders. It is a really effective light source for any room and I love how it looks here in these pictures! With a strong steady base and air/heat vents, this is a great piece for any interior lover and would even look great as a table centerpiece too!
What did you get up to this Valentine’s Day?
Great post! 🙂
I really like this kind of atmosphere!
Nikoleta, xoxo.
