A romantic night in with Debenhams on Valentine’s Day

Home interiors inspiration 2015 Home interiors inspiration 2015Home interiors inspiration 2015Home interiors inspiration 2015 Scores of people usually rush out on the most romantic night of the year but sometimes you can have just as much fun staying in at home.

(No pun intended)

As me and the hubby love nothing more than a nice snuggle on a cold night, it was great to work with Debenhams and make our room extra warm and cozy for Valentine’s Day.

A good duvet cover is really important to me and I couldn’t wait to try out this Stag/Scottish inspired one from Debs. With a slightly manly design that is also reversible, this cover is perfect for a man who doesn’t like girlie covers and bright colours yet still looks uber stylish and cool. The high thread count is a bonus on top of the thick quality it processes and it kept me so warm and snug in the middle of the night. I love the fact that the purple checkprint is repeated in the silhouettes of the stags and it brings back happy memories of our honeymoon in Oban.

As romantic lighting is a must for a night in, I really wanted to try out this large lantern with 5 tea light candle holders.  It is a really effective light source for any room and I love how it looks here in these pictures! With a strong steady base and air/heat vents, this is a great piece for any interior lover and would even look great as a table centerpiece too!
