Basso & Brooke 19th Sept LFW SS11

Dragging myself across town to get to the 9am show on a Sunday morning was well worth it. Basso and Brooke created a romantic and yet feminine collection for their new season. Dresses were the core of the collection with romantic poetry mixed with collage style prints to create an effortless chic with a carefree twist.

The hair and make up were toned down with a natural 70’s inspiration with wavy hair and peach lips.

The Fabrics and prints that the designers used bring out the clothing to life has made the new collection vibrate and lustful. The blues and yellows are a wake up for other designers to see that Basso and Brooke’s use of colour and prints are the way forward for the next season.
