Challenging my style

Challenging my style

I think it’s always good to challenge yourself. Whether it’s through your work, home life or challenging my style. Now I am definitely someone who loves to wear something a little bold and fun but I sometimes forget that I am a girl and do look nice in a dress.
As I was invited to Tenerife with Jet 2, I thought I would go all out and try some girlie outfits that normally I would probably shy away from.

I bought this dress from ASOS before we flew out from Manchester and I love it! As I have massive boobs and hate drawing attention to them, this dress is ideal for me. With its drop waist and loose cut, it looks really flattering around the boob area and best yet, I can eat whatever I want as it’s pretty roomy in there. It also has a great pleat skirt at the bottom which was tons of fun twirling around in.

A hat for your travels is essential! It keeps the sun out of your eyes and can make any outfit look that extra bit special! I was gifted this hat from Pia Rossini when I went to Paris with Amy (here) ages ago but I just love it. It keeps its shape too when you travel which is pretty important when you take it on your hols.

Shoes (you can walk in) are totally my bag. I used to strut around in 4-inch heels when I worked for TOPSHOP doing merchandising but those days are behind me now(12 years to be exact) and I prefer comfort. These star suede wedges from We are Cara are just great for any sunny holiday. They are not too high, are made with leather that stretches and look super cute with jeans, dresses, skirts or shorts.

Challenging my style

I think that jewellery is nice to play around with so I wore this super lush star ring from Muru with this outfit. It’s been pretty popular on my Instagram (here) and it looks so chic in the gold, mixed with the earthy colours I am wearing here.

I also wore my Tilly Sveaas necklace a lot in Tenerife too. I’ve featured it on my blog (here) and IG and it’s just so easy to wear! I used to hate mixing my golds and silvers but with this necklace it breaks that rule and looks stunning doing it. It’s a heavy necklace so may not suit all but looks great on girls with big jugs who have an even bigger personality.
