Chanel Paris Fashion Week SS11

It’s here, the latest from Chanel and I couldn’t be more excited!

Karl Lagerfeld does like to always incorporate the traditional Coco Chanel style and inspiration and this collection is no exception. One of the pieces Karl has used and updated is the baby pink tweed suit, with a slightly shorter jacket in a boxier style with fraying at the edges for a less polished look.

Accessories include the signature branded cuffs in metal and clear perspex, yellow clutches, traditional quilted Chanel bags in the new season colours, block style sandals with a slight oriental feel and pointelle leather gloves and Wedge boots. The effect has even been used on a pair of white trousers which works effectively.

Leather gloves and leather thigh socks are used throughout giving Chanel that KARL affect that still works well incorporated with the traditional Chanel appeal.

Whatever Karl does to Chanel next is a sure HIT among the Fashion pack. Let’s just keep our eyes pealed to who will be wearing this Fab collection in the New Promotion shoots for SS11. Can anyone say ‘Blake Lively?’
