Christopher Raeburn A/W 2014 – London Fashion Week

Christopher Raeburn A/W 2014I love quirky inspirations and I really admire Christopher Raeburn’s new collection and the sort of styles that it incorporates.  The models strutted the catwalk in oversized trousers with huge turn-ups, fun backpacks with matched jumpers and burnt orange which really gave the pieces some life.  The style of the clothing made me think of dirty fisherman battling the waves on a fishing trawler and sometimes battling the winter weather can be just as tough.

A masculine cut continues through the collection but with the right styling and some heels, a feminine edge could easily be put in.  Out of the whole range, the outwear pieces are the stronger choices and the key prints and colours; make them a pure investment purchase.
