Creating a fun and Cosy bed with Redbubble

I love websites that showcase new designers, prints and cool artwork and Redbubble does just that! Stocking an array of Duvets covers, throw pillows, clothing and phone cases, there is plenty to scroll through and I couldn’t wait to show you my new cosy bed that has had a Redbubble injection.

Sharing a bed with my husband means that I don’t normally go to girlie when it comes to duvet covers and pillows but Redbubble had tons for me to choose from.  As we both love films, it was great to have a look on the site and see what film based product they had to give our room a nice twist.  After scouting around, I discovered this amazing Back to the Future duvet of a black bear wearing Marty’s Clothes! As I found it was homeage to the 3rd film in the BTHF series, I thought a western style bedspread would be ace for our room.

After I decided on the theme, I used the search section in the website and found some cool throw pillows that were great shots of the desert.(one here and here)  As I am a huge lover of natural photography like this, I knew these would be ideal to sit on my bed with this duvet and the I guessed the colours would look really striking sat next to one and another.

I was really surprised at how good the quality of the duvet cover was when I received it. With a think cotton that supports the strong print, a softer cotton underneath is there to keep us warm and cozy at night. Along with a zip fastening, the artwork and colours of this design really show up well and the good quality cottons makes me want to stay in bed all day when I sleep with it over me. The pillows were a little more canvas then soft cotton but with prints like the ones I had chosen, it made the pillows look like mini canvas that were sat proudly on my bed! Again made with really good quality materials, these pillows are ideal for your bed, chair or sofa and I love how bright and statement they look next to my gorgeous Marty bear cover.
