Make up tutorial – Going Blonde to Black

Beauty review 2015Bunnipunch Make up bagI love having black hair.

I don’t know why but with my colouring and having blue eyes, black hair doesn’t look bad on me at all. I have had to adapt my makeup styles though to accompany such a colour change and tried out new products and colours from my normal routine.  As I was feeling inspired by this radial change, I thought I would do a post on a look I love to show you. (If reading isn’t your thing, you can watch it above)

I have known of Bare Minerals for a long time now but never really ventured to try out their products. I have heard plenty of good things about them so I knew it was time to go ‘Bare’ and try their range.

Complexion rescue is their latest Creme foundation gel to hit the market and I have been using it ever since. Suede(04) is the shade I have been trying and I love the colour and feel of this product. It’s uber easy to apply (with fingers or brush) and it makes my face and complexion look fresh, non-shiny and clear. If you like a natural look, this product is definitely for you.
Available in a nifty size for your makeup bag, this creme gel is key to any beauty or makeup lover who loves looking naturally their best.Beauty review 2015Beauty review 2015 Beauty review 2015 Beauty review 2015I love any products that have quirky packing and Soap & Glory are very good at showing off their product in cutely wrapped boxes.

I don’t do eye liner anymore so it was nice to experience with this Supercat Fat product during filming this clip. With a fat nip and one side flat, it’s an easy pen to use but it did take me a few attempts to get it looking ok (I’m out of practise). If you do make a mistake it’s easy to amend and it looks lovely one! Beauty review 2015Beauty review 2015I have tried lots of Essence’s product before so I knew this brown, shimmer eyeshadow would look lovely with my complexion. It’s a really easy eye shadow to use on and feels really soft when you are wearing it.Beauty review 2015Beauty review 2015As well as trying their complexion cream, I am also wearing Bare Minerals’ lipstick in this cool purple shade. I think semi dark lips look fab with black hair and it really makes my blue eyes pop too. It’s a really soft and smooth lippy to wear for everyday and is great shade for day to night celebrations.Beauty review 2015 Beauty review 2015 So do you like this look?
