I love being part of a campaign and it was an honour to be asked to be one of the bloggers for Simply be’s Summer Lookbook! Along with Stephanie from nerdabouttown.com , Marie from miggmag.com, Allison from curvygirlchic.com and Callie from fromthecornersofthecurve.com,the five of us got to be made up, dressed up and treated like Queens for the day and these images are the results from a fantastic day! I have never been on a project before with bloggers who mostly work on plus size topics so it was nice to speak to the girls and learn about the good and the bad from their own worlds. It seems the plus size industry is a whole different ball game to the one I am used to but it was lovely to hear that these amazing bloggers are giving confidence and their time to young girls that may find it hard to except themselves. I think EVERYONE should always be who they want to be but sometimes in a world full of body image, celebrities and faceless fakes, that message sadly gets lost.

I had a truly magical day with everyone involved in this campaign and I am hoping they will want to do another one! If you are a size 12 and up, you should definitely give Simply be a look as they have some amazing pieces and I am now a long term fan!
